146th European Study Group with Industry (2nd CY Study Group)

Opening event of the 146th European Study Group with Industry (2nd CY Study Group)/co-creation event with society on the 3rd of December 2018, 9-1pm at the University of Cyprus. The event includes short talks from experts in industrial and applied mathematics who will relay effective international practices for connecting academia with business and society and give successful examples. Subsequently, three societal and business challenges will be presented by the selected organisations:

·       Smart Separations Ltd: Optimizing the performance of a conical ceramic membrane”

·       AIPFE Cyprus-Women of Europe: “Breaking barriers for women in science”

·       VTS Vasilikos Terminal Services: “Fuel saving strategies for tugboats”
