20th Cyprus Mathematical Olympiad

The 20th Cyprus Mathematical Olympiad will take place on Sunday, 14 April 2019, at time and place that will be announced later. There will be an exam center in each district. The competition papers are multiple choice and are given in both Greek and English language. All the exam papers from the previous Math Olympiad competitions can be found in the CMS website.

In the 20th Cyprus Mathematical Olympiad can participate students from the 3rd class of Primary School to the 3rd class of Lyceum. From each school can register as many students as they want without any limit. The registration fee is 12 euros per student.

The registrations for the 20th Cyprus Mathematical Olympiad can be done in two ways:

A) Online registration: Each student, after visiting the CMS website, www.cms.org.cy, will be able to find and complete the online registrtation for his/her registration to the 20th Cyprus Mathematical Olympiad. The payment of the 12 euros for the registration fees will be done online with a credit card (visa). (deadline for the online registrations is March 22, 2019)

B) Printed (hard copy) registration:

i) The school can send the group registration form with all their students with a payment receipt from the Bank for 12 euros for each students or a total payment at the school's name, at the CMS office address. The payment receipt is secured by depositing the total amount of payment at the CMS Bank account at the BANK OF CYPRUS: ΙΒΑΝ CY07 0020 0158 0000 0001 0018 1200. Please make sure that the deposit is made in cash and that the school name is registered on the receipt. For more students you can copy the group registration form. Please complete the form using CAPITAL LETTERS.

ii) Each student individually can complete the printed (hard copy) registration form and send it by mail, with the payment receipt for 12 euros, at the CMS office address. The payment receipt is secured with the deposit of the 12 euros at the Bank account above. Please make sure that the deposit is made in cash and that the student's name is registered on the receipt.

The printed (hard copy) registrations, group or individual, must arrive at the CMS offices until the 28th of February 2019. Please proceed and register the students within the deadline. Registrations after the deadline wont be accepted. CMS will send the participation slips for all the students registered at their school. The participation slip will indicate the time and place of the exam.

The students that want to be notified with an sms message in case they achieve a medal at the exam, must indicate a mobile number next to their name. The results for all the students that will achieve a medal will be send with an sms message.

* By giving your mobile number you agree in sending you the results, in case of a medal achievement, with an sms message. By signing the registration form you allow the Cyprus Mathematical Society to publicly announce the student's information only in the case of a distinction and also to announce the students participation information in the CMS website. The students information will only be used for the purpose of the Competition and for the announcement of his/her participation of distinction.
