B' Selection Competition for the International Mathematics Competition IMC KEY STAGE II and KEY STAGE III 2021

ANNOUNCEMENT

Cyprus Mathematical Society invites all students of the 5th and 6th Grade of Primary School, and all the students of all the levels of Gymnasium, who have been qualified from the Pancyprian Mathematics Competitions, that took place on the 28th of February 2021, to participate in the B' Selection Competition for the International Mathematics Competition IMC 2021 - Key Stage II and Key Stage III, that will take place on Wednesday, 9 of June, 2021, at 15:45-17:45, at the Vergina Lyceum in Larnaka and A' Lyceum Ethnarchis Makarios C' (former Nikolaideio building) in Paphos. 

Students from the Districts of Nicosia, Larnaka and Famagusta will attend the examination at the Vergina Lyceum in Larnaka. Students from the Districts of Limassol and Paphos will attend the examination at the A' Lyceum Ethnarchis Makarios C' (former Nikolaideio building) in Paphos. In order to apply all the Safety and Health Protocols, we ask you that the above separation is strictly followed. 

Students must be at the exam center at least 20 minutes earlier than the time the exam starts. 

The students who have the right to participate in the B' Selection Competition are shown in the announcement below.  (the announcement is in the Greek language)

ANNOUNCEMENT

During the exam, as well as during the entry and exit of students in the examination centers, the rules of Safety and Health Protocol, valid during the day of the exam, will be applied.

• It is mandatory for the students of the Gymnasium to wear a mask inside and outside the examination rooms.
• All Gymnasium students (Grades 7-9), have to present to the test center a negative rapid test result.  
• It is mandatory for the students of the Primary School (Grades 5-6) to wear a mask during their movement to and from the examination rooms. They can remove their mask when they enter the examination room and take their sit. (It is recommended to wear the mask inside the examination room)
• The students body temperature will be measured upon entering the Examination Center.
• The contestants will enter the examination center alone, without being accompanied by their parents. The organizers will direct students to their examination room.
• Parents will be waiting outside the school/examination center.
